I finally got this new blog site up and running (the old one got trashed, apparently maliciously). This iteration of my blog is based on blogengine.net, a simple, straightforward blog engine written in C# and ASP.NET (vs. ColdFusion for the old one). Finally I can actually work on the blog software myself! I ported all the old posts that I could retrieve from the old database (everything up through May 07 or so, but nothing after). I haven't ported the comments, and I'm not entirely sure I'm going to bother.
Next task is to CardSpace-enable the site.
