Joe Long is the GM for Connected Identity at MSFT, which includes DS, ADFS, CardSpace, ILM, and RMS. Given that DEC now encompasses all of these IdA technologies, Joe is the perfect guy to keynote DEC.

I've met Joe just a couple of times, and he's one of those scary-smart guys who switches easily from thinking strategically to analyzing a stack trace and back again. We haven't discussed what he's going to talk about yet, but I'm looking forward to the discussion.
